As a PCI DSS level 1 certified Payment Gateway Worldnet provides secure card payments to our clients through a variety of methods including Chip&Pin, Virtual Terminal and eCommerce. In the charity sector we have recently partnered with Evergiving who specialise in providing their clients with a PCI Level 1 certified software platform for face-to-face fundraising. Through the Evergiving/Worldnet integration, mutual clients can now accept and store card details in a PCI-compliant manner directly through their Waysact app when fundraising face-to-face.

Omni-Channel Solution

In the charity sector having the capability to collect donations from supporters in as many ways as possible is a massive benefit. In some cases, this requires multiple payment technology providers with lots of monthly fees and lots of different systems to get used to – with Worldnet, this is no longer the case.

SecureCard v Direct Debits

Time-consuming direct debit set-up is a common issue experienced by charities. Worldnet’s solution is simple – SecureCard. Worldnet’s tokenized card facility is called “SecureCard” – it enables Worldnet customers to store cardholder details in a PCI-compliant manner.

Once the card details are securely stored on the Worldnet servers, the charity is provided with a token which can be used on the Worldnet platform for eCommerce, call centre or recurring payment transactions.

Using the Worldnet payment page for eCommerce transactions allows the donor to process a payment and subsequently store their card details for future recurring payments.

Worldnet’s card storage facility can be integrated with a charity’s call centre software, so that call centre operators can accept card payments over the phone while also storing the card details for recurring payments.

Account updater

Another common issue experienced by the majority of charities is the threat of subscription abandonment when a set of card details expires. Worldnet’s solution is “Account Updater.” Worldnet has integrated directly into Visa and Mastercard, to ensure that our customers have a continued and uninterrupted recurring payment service.

Visa and Mastercard inform Worldnet when a new card has been issued for a cardholder whose old card details are being used for a recurring payment. Worldnet updates the card details and the recurring payment continues uninterrupted.

This services reduces the time spent by charities updating old card details and significantly reduces the chance of subscription abandonment.

The Worldnet payment solution provides charities to accept card payments at every turn, while assuring the cardholder that the transaction is secured to the highest possible data security standards.
